Genith Grandez Maynas

Genith is an active and persevering businesswoman. She lives in the city of Pucallpa, located in the Ucayali region. She is 31 years old and has three young children. She sells beauty products through catalogs and her husband is a laborer. She has been affiliated with the communal bank, “Las Solteritas” (The Young Single Women) for the past two years. Her first loan was for 300 PEN (~$100 US) which she used to invest in colognes and baby powders.

She needs a loan for 1,500 PEN ($525 US) which she will invest in other beauty products, such as perfumes, creams, talcs, and other products which she will sell to her customers. Genith’s goal is to have a good selection of products in order to advance her business.

Genith es una socia activa y perseverante, vive en la ciudad de Pucallpa, región de Ucayali, tiene 31 años, es madre de tres hijos menores de edad, ella se dedica a la venta de productos de belleza por catálogos, su esposo es obrero. Forma parte del Banco Comunal “Las Solteritas” desde hace dos años, ella empezó con un crédito de 300 soles que le permitió invertir en colonias y talcos para bebes.
Ahora necesita un crédito de 1500 soles que será invertido en la compra de productos de belleza como perfumes, cremas, talcos, y otros, para luego ser vendidos a sus clientes. La meta de Genith es llegar a tener un bazar bien surtido y salir adelante en su negocio.
