Emelia

Emelia is forty-seven years old. She is married and the mother of four children. She lives with her family in their own house. She operates a pharmaceutical shop and sells various kinds of medicine like blood tonics, pain killers, malaria drugs, etc. in her neighborhood. Many local people patronize her drugstore for first aid and cure when they are sick.

Emelia has time for every customer that visits her shop. She usually enquires about the symptoms of the illness to offer the right medicine and also gives advice on its usage. She has been in operation for the past twelve years and has assisted in the cure of a number of common diseases such malaria, cholera, typhoid ,etc. in her community.
