Melita Coronado Romero

Melita is a persistent and hardworking woman. She lives in the district of Yarinacocha, which is in the region of Ucayali. Melita is 37 years old and the mother of 5 children, of whom 1 is already an adult. She sells secondhand clothing out of her home and has the support of her husband.

Melita joined the Communal Bank “Gotitas de Amor” (Droplets of Love) eight months ago. Her first loan of 500 soles was used to buy soft drinks, yogurts, and nectars. She is now requesting a loan of 1000 soles to buy more secondhand clothing. Melita’s goal is to open her own clothing store and sewing workshop.

Melita es una mujer perseverante y trabajadora, vive en el distrito de Yarinacocha región de Ucayali, tiene 37 años, es madre de cinco hijos, uno de ellos mayor de edad. Melita se dedica a la venta de ropa de segundo uso, ella vende en su casa, cuenta con el apoyo de su esposo. Forma parte del Banco Comunal “Gotitas de Amor” desde hace ocho meses. El primer crédito que recibió fue de 500 soles, que lo utilizó para comprar gaseosas, yogures y néctares, en la actualidad Melita necesita un crédito de 1000 soles, que será utilizado para comprar ropa de segundo uso. La meta de Melita es tener una tienda de artículos de abarrotes y pasamanería.
