Kiva Journal Update for Meas Sophal

Entrepreneur: Meas Sophal
Location: Phnom Penh Province, Cambodia

Mrs. Meas Sophal lives outside of Phnom Penh proper in Cambodia. Her household consists of her husband, her parents, and two of her four children. She and her husband construct stairs out of wooden boards to sell to other households. With their loan, they were able to build a larger house to more adequately accommodate their large family. However, because of the high costs of construction, they have not been able to complete the new house. They are currently focused on repaying their loan, and hope in the future to be able to raise more money to complete the house.

Her sister is pictured here in front of the new house.
