Dolor Manlapaz

26-year-old Dolor Manlapaz lives with her husband Crisanto, a restaurant employee, and their only child, in Malibay, Pasay City.

Dolor has been working hard on her piggery business. She raises pigs to get income to support her family. She also sells fresh pork meat. She brings her pigs to the butcher when they are ready for slaughtering. She also finds time to manage a rickshaw (pedicab) operation. All these business activities account for her monthly income of P24,000.00.

She became a member of the Center for Community Transformation (CCT) Credit Cooperative in 2001. She has a pending application for a new loan with the cooperative in the amount of P30,000.00 to infuse fresh capital into her business.

Dolor hopes to add a canteen business to her existing ones. She also wants to have a meat stall in the nearby public market.
