Banco Comunal De Juntos A Trabajar Group

The group consists of 11 neighbors who live in San Sebastián, a neighborhood in Cusco. The group is called Juntos a Trabajar, which means We Work Together. The members are natives of Cusco and surrounding areas.

Some of the members are single, some have children and others are single.

The members are engaged in various commercial activities – construction, grocery, selling jewelry, clothing, fresh juice, and cellular phones.

With this loan, they will invest in more construction materials and products for their stores. One will repair a car to rent and another will open a new store selling piñatas for children’s birthday parties.

For some this is their first loan, while others have received loans in the past.

All of the members are grateful for the loans, especially since some have had problems obtaining capital in the past. They all promise to pay the monthly payments on time.

About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
