Febelyn Valdez

Febelyn is a young mother who lives in a village located at Barangay Pieza, Villaverde, Nueva Vizcaya. She is 21 years old. Because of her early marriage, she only completed a secondary level of education. She is married to Jeffrey Valdez; they are blessed with a child named Eunice Valdez. It is difficult for them to earn a living because they have no stable job.

Her husband cultivates their parcel of land by planting rice and some vegetables while Febelyn uses their tricycle to earn income. Through her patience and sacrifices, she earns a minimum income of PHP 200 per day. She utilizes this to acquire their daily basic needs and to save for the future of their child. Due to the high cost of commodities, she needs to earn more income to meet their daily needs. Consequently, she wants to borrow additional capital from ASKI, amounting to PHP 7,000. It will be used for the maintenance of their tricycle. She is very grateful for this financial assistance because it will allow her to use her tricycle continuously and thus improve their living conditions.
