Nelly Moreno Nolorbe

Nelly is a hardworking woman who fights for her ideals. She lives in the District of Manantay in Ucayali Region. Nelly is 49 years old and the mother of 6 adult children. She and her husband sell tables and wooden slats from their business that they operate out of their home.

Nelly joined the Communal Bank “Loreto” three years ago. The first loan she received was in the amount of 300 soles and used to buy fruit that she sold from the sidewalk near her home. At the moment, she needs a loan of 2000 soles to buy wood for resale. Nelly’s goal is to have her own store where she can sell tables and move her business forward.

Nelly es una mujer trabajadora que lucha por sus ideales, vive en el distrito de Manantay, región Ucayali, tiene 49 años de edad, es madre de seis hijos, de los cuales cuatro son mayores de edad. Nelly se dedica a la venta de tablas y listones de madera, actividad que lo realiza junto con su esposo, este negocio funciona en su casa. Forma parte del Banco Comunal “Loreto” desde hace tres años, el primer préstamo que recibió fue de 300 soles que le permitió invertir en frutas para vender en la vereda de su casa, en la actualidad ella necesita un crédito de 2000 soles que será utilizado para comprar madera y venderlo posteriormente. La meta de Nelly es tener un local propio para colocar las tablas y seguir progresando.
