Mrs. Kaem Ing Village Bank Group

Nineteen people who live in Hang Heng village in Takeo province made up the village bank loan and they will use the loan in different purposes. Mrs. Kaem Ing is a village bank president who has been selected by the members. She is a farmer who owns 1-hectar field to cultivate rice to earn for living. Aside from this, she is a pig breeder in the local village. Since this business is going well, she wants to expand it so she decided to ask for a loan to buy more piglets for breeding and she would use the rest of the loan to buy pig food to feed them. Her husband, Mr. Kung Meoun, is an ice cream seller who can make a small income to support the family. Mrs. Kaem Ing is 36 years old and the mother of three children two of whom are employed in a garment factory while the youngest one is attending the local school.




About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
