Turmunkh is 38 years old and lives with his wife and two children in the Uvurkhangai province of Mongolia. He and his family live together in a ger, a traditional Mongolian nomadic tent. Both his children, ages 15 and 13, attend a local secondary school. Turmunkh operates a taxi service and a coal transportation service in his town. After operating a consumer goods business for five years, he began his delivery service in 2008. Turmunkh says “All I want is to be able to educate my children and make them better people who can contribute to society.” He is requesting a 1,500,000 tugrug (~1050 USD) loan in order to purchase repair parts for his delivery truck.
