Jesus Is Lord #2 Group

Teta Taylor sells frozen chicken and pig feet. She buys them wholesale from importers and sells them in the Dualla market – a big food market, north of the capital, Monrovia, Liberia. Teta is 36 years old and married with three children between the ages of 12 and 14 years old, in 4th and 5th grades. Teta also cares for four siblings. She is a 10th grade drop-out due to lack of financial support. She and her family live in Virginia, a newly built community for poor people who can't afford to buy a town lot, north of Monrovia in Liberia.

Teta has been running her business for three years and hopes to become an importer in the future. Teta sell good big chicken and pig feet and takes her goods to her customers to encourage them to continue buying from her. She needs this loan to purchase more chicken and pig feet barrels. Teta dreams of improving the standard of living of her family.

"Jesus Is Lord" is a group of five borrowers led by Teta Taylor.




About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
