Sreng Sriv

Sreng Sriv, 44, is a housewife and has a three-year-old child. She resides in Kompong Chnang Province, Cambodia with her husband (pictured). To make a living, her husband operates his motor taxi at the local markets in the town, earning approximately an income of US $2.5 in revenue per day to cover his household expenses. This couple tries to work hard every day to ensure good living for their child and family. Sriv is seeking to improve her husband’s business, so she is asking for a loan of US $700 to purchase a motorbike that will enable her husband to provide efficient services to his customers because the his current motorbike is old and not reliable enough to attract people. By doing so, she hopes she will be able to generate more income to make a better standard of living.
