Nori

Nori, 32, is a loving mom who lives in her own home with her two children, Joaquín, 13, and Milagros, 10, to whom she would like to give a good education. Nori's stall is located in the San José market (a very important market in the city of Juliaca). She sells baby bedspreads that she brings from the cities of Tacna and Desaguadero, where the new models arrive. Because of the novelty of her bedspreads, her stall is very popular.

What she likes most about her job is chatting with the ladies in the neighboring stalls and finding out about what is happening in the market. Nori has been in this business for 10 years; the most difficult part of her job is getting up in the morning to open her stall for customers, as they tend to shop in the very early hours of the day. In the future, Nori would like to have a clothing store from which to provide better service to her customers.

This is Nori's sixth loan with Kiva partner MFP; she is determined to pay her installments on time to avoid troubling the other members of her communal bank, where she is loved for the joy with which she infuses the group. With the PEN 1,500 she is requesting, she will buy more products in order to better equip her stall.

Nori, de 32 años, es una madre muy amorosa, vive en su propia casa junto a sus 2 hijos: Joaquín de 13 y Milagros de 10 años, a quienes desea dar unos buenos estudios. El puesto de Nori está ubicado en el mercado San José (mercado importante de la ciudad de Juliaca), ella se dedica a la venta de cubrecamas para bebés, las cuales trae desde las ciudades de Tacna y Desaguadero, ya que es ahí donde llegan los nuevos modelos y es debido a estas novedades que su puesto es muy concurrido.

Lo que más le gusta de su trabajo es conversar con sus vecinas de venta y enterarse de las cosas que suceden en el mercado, lleva 10 años realizando es actividad y considera que lo más difícil es tener que levantarse en la madrugada para abrir su puesto de venta, ya que la gente acostumbra ir de compras muy temprano. Para el futuro espera tener una tienda de ropa en la cual pueda atender mejor a sus clientes.

Este es el sexto préstamo de Nori con MFP y está dispuesta a pagar todas sus cuotas a tiempo, puesto que no quiere perjudicar a las demás socias de su banco comunal, donde es muy querida por la alegría que le pone al grupo. Con los mil quinientos nuevos soles solicitados comprará más mercadería para implementar mejor su puesto de venta.
