Kigalama Balabas is a hard-working and devoted leader of his lending group in Kayunga. He is a married man with 5 children. He has been a businessman involved in the motor vehicle transportation business for a long time now. His main business is using his car to transport agricultural produce from the villages to the markets. He transports people that are going to the daily markets as well as any other services that need his attention. At the moment, this is not his personal car but he would like to work hard to ensure that he can have his own vehicle, to increase his savings. Apart from being able to pay school fees for his children, he has been able to acquire household items as well as land that is used by his family to grow food and cash crops. Balabas needs a loan to be able to buy fertilizers and to employ labor on his farm for better production.
