Jesus Love Group

Jesus Love is a group of 5 borrowers which is led by Jennes S. Karmon. Jennes is a 53-year-old married woman with 2 children. Her children are 23 and 24 years old, and they both studied through the 12th grade. In addition, Jennes cares for a sibling. Due to a lack of financial support from her parents, she had to drop out of college. Jennes and her family live in Molton Corner Brewer Ville on the outskirts of the capital of Liberia, Monrovia.

Jennes is engaged in the business of selling general goods. In particular, she buys general goods such as detergents, candles, matches, and batteries at wholesale prices, and she then sells the goods at retail prices to residents of her village. She has been running this business for 21 years, and she hopes to establish a larger store in the future. She notes that poor road conditions often make it difficult for her to transport new goods to Molton Corner. Regardless, she has a great relationship with her customers, which effectively encourages them to continue buying goods from her business.

She is requesting this loan so that she can purchase additional goods. Her dream is to build a house for her and her family and to thereby improve her family's standard of living.



About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
