The committee Kuña Arandú formed on June 23rd, 2009, thanks to Gregoria Ruiz, who contacted the Fundacion Pargauya on founding a Women’s Committee. After a few days they formed a group of 18 women, who are all now working with Fundacion Paraguaya.

On average, each group member took out a loan of 455,000 Gs., which is intended for different activities such as selling grocery items (rice, sugar, dairy, baked goods, meat, etc.), cosmetics, crafts, etc.
