Bathuu Amarsaikhan

Bathuu Amarsaikhan is 36 years old and lives with his wife and three children in the Khovd province of western Mongolia. He and his family live together in a ger, a traditional Mongolian nomadic tent. All three of Amarsaikhan’s children attend a local secondary school while his wife helps him out with his business. Amarsaikhan operates a dairy product retail business in his town at the local market. He purchases all of his dairy products from the Arkhangai province which is known nationally for its wonderful dairy. Amarsaikhan attributes his business success to his knowledge of the local market demands. He is requesting a 2,500,000 tugrug (~1750 USD) loan in order to purchase more dairy products to sell during the upcoming winter months when prices for such products traditionally rise.
