Ian Lontok

Ian Lontok is from the village of Biasong. He is 24 years old. Ian is married and has 1 infant-aged children. To make a living, Ian owns & operates a business venture in the food sector operating a fishing business. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes primarily from harvesting & selling ocean-caught fish in the local community. Ian has been engaged in his business for over 5 years and earns approximately 2,000 PHP a month for these activities.

In 2008, Ian joined PMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve his living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Ian has successfully repaid a previous loan of 7,000 PHP from PMPC. This previous loan was used to to purchase fishing equipment including hooks & nets. Ian is requesting a new loan of 10000 PHP which will be used to invest in expanding the business. This loan will be the 2nd loan taken out by Ian from PMPC. He plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of the borrower's family.
