Daniel

Daniel, 55, is separated from his life partner, and he currently lives alone. His only daughter is independent and lives in another city. He says that the blood of a farmer runs through his veins. That is why, with great pleasure, he lets us know the whole process of working his coffee plantation.

He starts by burning all of the shrubbery of the old plants as a way of preparing the earth. Then he works in the seedbed (a type of nursery) of the coffee plants. These are fertilized with chemical supplies and abundant water. Once the plants are 30 centimeters high, he will transplant them into a clean field. This way, in a year’s time, it will be ready for him to pick. The sales are very profitable for him. That is why Daniel prefers to plant coffee.

This is his third loan with MFP. With his previous loans he has demonstrated himself to be a very responsible client with his payments. He will use the money he is now asking for to buy chemical fertilizers for his coffee plants.

Daniel tiene 55 años, está separado de su pareja y actualmente vive solo. Su única hija ya es independiente y vive en otra ciudad. Él menciona que por sus venas corre sangre de agricultor, es por ello con gran alegría nos da a conocer todo el proceso de sus cafetales. Inicia quemando todos los arbustos de las plantas viejas, como una forma de preparar la tierra, luego trabaja en la almáciga (especie de vivero) de sus plantas de café, las cuales fertiliza con insumos químicos y abundante agua, y una vez que las plantas tienen 30 centímetros de alto procede a trasplantarlas en una chacra limpia. De este modo en el lapso de un año, está listo para recolectar su producto, el cual le resulta muy rentable durante la comercialización, por ello Daniel siempre prefiere sembrar el café.
Este es su tercer préstamo con MFP, donde durante sus anteriores créditos ha demostrado ser un cliente muy responsable en sus pagos. El dinero que ahora solicita lo invertirá en la compra de fertilizantes químicos para sus plantas de café.
