Grace

Grace is sixty two years old, divorced, and the mother of seven children. Three of her children are currently in school while the other four older children work. To support them, Grace has been trading food for six years now. She always tries to maximize profit through Just In Time delivery (JIT). She trades wheat and spices such as maize and pepper in bulk. She buys these crops directly from farmers at a relatively low price. She sells them at the local market in the town where she lives with her family. She also brings some of her goods to nearby markets to sell. She says she wants to use the loan to buy the goods in bulk so that she can distribute to a greater number of customers. She believes this will prevent her from frequent traveling and increase her profit margin.
