Abduhalim Aminjonov

Abduhalim is married with a three children. He had to find a way to support his family and that is how he ended up as a taxi driver. He owns a car and provides transportation services throughout Khujand, Tajikistan. The business is the only source of income for his family. Abduhalim works very hard, sometimes without days off or vacation, in order to bring in enough income. Abduhalim has been in this business for 3 years. His determination and strong will to succeed have helped him keep his business stable and sustainable and have promoted its expansion. Abduhalim would like to get a loan for $2600 USD in order to replace his car with the new one. With that way he will improve his business and earn more money by attracting more clients. Tajikistan is known for its rich history, which includes a key post along the Silk Road and the end of Alexander the Great's rule. It has also produced great thinkers, philosophers, scientists and poets, including Rudaki, Avicenna, Ferdowsi, Omar Khayyam, Jomi, and Rumi. These conditions have resulted in high levels of unemployment and have forced hundreds of thousands to seek work in other countries, mainly Russia. While the people of Tajikistan are working to improve its agricultural production and manufacturing sector, nearly two-thirds of the population still live in abject poverty.
