Tumurkhuyag Mishka

Tumurkhuyag is 23 years old and lives with his wife and one-year-old child in the Arkhangai province of Mongolia. He and his family live together in a ger, a traditional Mongolian nomadic tent.

Tumurkhuyag operates a dairy retail business in his town with his wife. He purchases his dairy products from Bulgan Sum, a smaller town nearby, and sells them at the central market in his town or in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia.

Tumurkhyuyag began his business in 2006 with working capital of 1,000,000 tugrug (~700 USD) and since then, his working capital has grown to exceed 1,500,000 tugrug (~1050 USD). Since beginning his business, he has been able to not only provide for his young family, but he has also been able to purchase a car which helps him transport the dairy products to market.

Tumurkhuyag hopes to continue to grow his business so that he can provide for his family in the future. He is requesting a 1,500,000 tugrug loan to purchase more dairy products so that he can attract even more customers in the markets.
