Teodora Nolido

Mrs. Teodora Nolido is from Prk. San Jose, Brgy. Calumangan, Bago City. She is 53 years old and married to Ernesto Nolido. She has six school age children.

She has been a member of the NWTF-Project Dungganon since 1999. Before she joined, Teodora already had a small vegetable farm, but she kept it for their family's consumption only. When some of her neighbors started inquiring about buying some of the vegetables that her family could not consume, Teodora got the idea that it would be a good income source if she increased her production and sold vegetables in the local market. As the volume of production grew, she started building good customer relations and soon had many regular customers, some of whom bought vegetables in bulk. Teodora also raised pigs in her backyard as a supplementary source of income. All these ventures were made possible because she is able to access loans for capital from NWTF-Project Dungganon, and the relationship prospers because Teodora always pays her weekly installments on time and fully pays her loan within its loan term.

Because her vegetable farm can for now sustain itself, Teodora plans to expand her pig fattening business. She is planning to borrow PHP 25,000 for her 8th cycle loan for this specific purpose.
