Felicema San Buenaventura

Felicema San Buenaventura is now 64 years old and already a widow. Her husband left her with two children: Sheryl now has her own family and is working as a teacher, sometimes helping her mother with some expenses; and Pricela also helping her mother in running their business.

The main source of their income is Felicema’s variety store and also her food preparation business. Although her daughter gives her money from her salary, Felicema wants to pursue her business because this business gives them enough income for their daily expenses.

Now, Felicema will use her loan received from Kiva field partner Ahon sa Hirap Inc. to buy things that are needed in her two businesses. For her variety store she will buy rice, sugar, soap, canned goods, shampoo, cigarettes and other groceries. For her eatery she will buy different ingredients because she wants to diversify her menu.

Felicema swears that she will do everything to make her business grow, and for her family to experience a sumptuous way of living. She wants to help the family of her children.
