Temukisa Atoaga

Temukisa Atoaga is a 48 year-old woman living in the town of Leualesi Leauvaa. She is married and has 7 children adult -aged children. To make a living, Temukisa owns & operates a business venture in the agriculture sector raising crops. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes primarily from planting & harvesting fruits & vegetables for sale. Temukisa has been engaged in this business for over 5 years and earns approximately $550 WST a month from these activities.

In 2003, Temukisa joined SPBD to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Temukisa has successfully repaid a previous loan of $2750 WST from SPBD. This previous loan was used to purchase land to raise additional crops. Temukisa is now requesting a new loan of $2950 WST which will be used to purchase fertilizers such as manure. The loan will be the 7th loan taken out by the borrower from SPBD. Temukisa plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve/expand the borrower's business.
