Nustriana Paglinawan

Nustriana Paglinawan, from the village of Cabungaan Clarin, is 73 years old, married, and the mother of five adult-aged children. To make a living, Nustriana owns and operates a specialized retail store selling daily use products such as shampoo, soap , toothpaste, sugar and snacks in the local community. Engaged in her business for over 10 years, she earns approximately 3,000 PHP a month.

In 2007, Nustriana joined GDMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Having fully repaid a previous loan of 10,000 PHP from GDMPC, she is now requesting a new loan, her fifth, of 10,000 PHP to purchase additional products to sell. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of her family.
