Los Angeles Group

The "Los Ángeles” communal financial cooperative is made up of 10 partners. They all live in the same neighborhood, Pumacahuaga; they are neighbors and have known each other for a long time. The neighborhood is located at the Los Angeles entrance to the Chosica district, in the Department of Lima.

The group has worked with EDAPROSPO – Prosperity for the past 8 months. Currently, Dora Maribel, originally from Tacna, has taken on the position of president. She is a single woman who has sold general groceries for the past two years. The partners carry out a range of business activities: one sells clothing and accessories; two provide domestic services; two sell food; another offers waitress services; two sell snacks; one provides cleaning services; and another sells general groceries.

The funds from the loan offered to Dora will be invested in purchasing basic staple products and as capital for the Christmas marketing campaign. She is also thinking of taking computer courses and studying pastrymaking, since she would like to open a bakery in the future.

All of the partners share the desire to improve their lives and increase their earnings, and to invest in expanding their incomes and raising their quality of life and the quality of their children's educations.

La alcancía comunal “Los Ángeles”; esta conformada por 10 socios, ellos tienen como afinidad, de que todos viven en el mismo barrio de villa Pumacahuaga, son vecinos y se conocen desde hace mucho tiempo, esta ubicado en la entrada de los Ángeles del distrito chosica, departamento de Lima.

Trabajan con EDAPROSPO – Prosperidad desde hace 8 meses, actualmente asume el cargo de presidenta la señorita Dora Maribel, natural de Tacna, soltera se dedica a la venta de abarrotes en general desde hace 2 años. Los socios desempeñan diversas actividades, una de ellas a la venta prendas de vestir y accesorios, 2 prestan servicio domestico, 2 venden comidas, la otra presta servicio de azafata, 2 se dedican venta de golosinas, una presta servicio de limpieza y la otra vende abarrotes en general.
Con el reciente préstamo otorgado a Dora lo invertirá en la compra de productos de primera necesidad y capital para la campaña navideña; piensa estudiar computación y también pastelería ya que en el futuro le gustaría abrir una panadería.
Todos los socios tienen el deseo de salir adelante, incrementar sus ganancias e invertir para mejorar sus ingresos, para mejorar la calidad de vida y educación de sus hijos.
