Luz Zenaida Loja Loja

The Unión Progresista Communal Bank is located 45 minutes outside of the city of Cuenca on the way to El Valle in the Ñariviña community. Here we can enjoy beautiful scenery because it is a community that offers the freedom of being in the country, breathing fresh air, and admiration for the natural beauty of this city.

Luz Loja lives in the Pichicay community in the Santa Ana parish. She is a 24 year old single mother with a child who is one year and eleven months old. Her child is not acknowledged by his father. She works as a domestic employee. She has done this for several years to support her son. She does not have her own house; she lives with her mother.

Luz has a nice friendship with all of the other members of her communal bank. She has been working with the foundation for three years. With the loans she has received, she has paid some debts. With the loan from ESPOIR she will buy furniture for her home.

Luz’s dream is to have her own chicken coop. This is an activity with a short cycle, and it also produces good income. Then she could spend more time with her son.

El banco comunal Unión Progresista se encuentra ubicado a unos 45 minutos fuera de la ciudad de Cuenca, vía al Valle en la comunidad de Ñariviña, aquí podemos disfrutar de unos hermosos paisajes siendo una comunidad que nos brinda la libertad de estar en el campo, respirar aire puro y admirar la belleza natural de nuestra ciudad.

La señora Luz Loja vive en la comunidad de Pichicay en la parroquia Santa Ana, es una joven de 24 años, es madre soltera de un hijo de 1 año 11 meses de edad, su niño no es reconocido por su padre, ella trabaja como empleada doméstica hace ya varios años para mantener a su hijo, no tiene casa propia por lo que vive con su madre.

Luz tiene una buena amistad con todas las socias de su banco comunal, lleva trabajando junto a la fundación tres años, con los créditos obtenidos ha cancelado algunas deudas, mientras que con el préstamo que ESPOIR le entregue va a invertir en la compra de muebles para su hogar.

El sueño de Luz es llegar a tener su propio criadero de pollos actividad de corto ciclo y que además deja buenas ganancias para compartir mas tiempo con su niño.
