The village bank, "Altiplano" meets at a regional office called Villa Tejada. They are a very nice group that in addition to working together in Pro-Mujer's system, they have formed lovely friendships within the group.

Currently there are a variety of activities in which this bank works. For example, Isabel has been making corn breads for the last six years and peddling them. Justina sells a variety of fruits and Leonora sells potatoes and chuño, or dehydrated potatoes. Yolanda makes fabric for blankets and Katty has a book stall. Fabiola bakes bread and makes food. They say they need more capital to buy supplies and a variety of products like flour, sugar, fruit and other items.
