Prosperity Enterprise is a group of five borrowers led by Annie Williams, who is 28 years old and married with three children ages 1-10 years old. Her eldest child's education level is second grade. Annie is a 9th grade drop-out because of lack of support; she couldn’t go further in education but rather, she had to get married and started having children. She lives in the Brewer Ville community. It is north of Monrovia, Liberia, and it is an isolated and poor community that got destroyed by the civil war.

Annie's business is selling food ingredients, like beans, rice, oil, wheat, etc. She buys wholesale and sells at retail to the residents of Brewer Ville, Monrovia, Liberia. She has been running this business for more than two years. She started with a very small amount but now runs a little shop. Annie sells in a neat place and also does delivery to homes as a method of getting more customers.

Getting beans and wheat is very difficult on the Liberian market because farms have been destroyed by the civil crisis. Annie needs this loan to purchase bags of beans and tins of palm oil. She dreams of improving her business so as to complete her dream by educating her children for a better future.
