My Children Business Group

Ruth L. Browne is the leader of a group of five borrowers called My Children Business. She is 34 years old and a college student. Ruth is a single mother of three children aged 12-18 years old and their educational levels are 9th grade to 1st year university. She also cares for four siblings. She lives at and sells on the VOA Road, Brewerville, on the outskirts of Monrovia, the capital of Liberia.

Ruth's business is food preparation and she sells to the residents of VOA Road. She has been running this business for four years and is grateful to the business for taking care of herself and her children. Ruth's difficulty she faces with her business is when her business money gets stolen.

Preparing her food is the best way that Ruth attracts her customers. She needs this loan in order to purchase more food and ingredients to grow her business. Becoming an international businesswoman is Ruth's dream, so as to give herself and her children a better life.
