Christiana Ansumana is the leader of a group of five borrowers called VOA Tiger. She is 45 years old and an elementary school drop-out due to poverty. Christiana is married with three children aged 14-28 years old and their educational levels are 9th high school graduate. She also cares for three siblings.

Christiana lives and does business in the Jah Tono community, Brewerville area, north of the outskirts of Monrovia, Liberia.
This community is known as a very old settlement where people settle after leaving the rural areas; it is also known as a community where people fight poverty to change their lives.

Christiana's business is purchasing food ingredients like seasonings, pepper, oil, fresh tomatoes, onions, etc. She buys wholesale and sells to the residents of Jah Tono. She has been running this business for three years and is hoping to improve her business to a better standard. She sells at affordable prices that encourage customers to always want to patronize her business. Her main challenge is when she sells on credit. But if she doesn't give credit, she feels it drives them away, although she is able to save.

Christiana needs this loan to purchase bags of charcoal as a method of expanding her business. She dreams of giving her children a better education to enable them to become prominent people in society.
