Sindy

Sindy is a lively and easygoing 20-year-old who lives at home with her parents. What she wants most is to excel in life. Sindy's crafts booth is located in Bolognesi Park (a major park in the city of Juliaca) and is one of the most eye-catching due to the beautiful crafts that she makes and sells. One can find a bit of everything at the booth, from keychains to garments woven by hand.

What Sindy likes the most about her job is talking with customers. She has been in this line of work for 3 years and considers the most difficult thing to be having to stay all day in her sales booth. In the future Sindy hopes to have a bigger store where she can bring her customers greater comfort and convenience.

This is Sindy's third loan with MFP (Microfinanzas Prisma, a Kiva Field partner), and she is very happy to have this new opportunity for a loan. In her communal bank she is a very supportive member with the rest of her business partners. With the 1200 Peruvivan soles (US$425), she will buy more materials to make her crafts so she can increase her stock.

Sindy tiene 20 años, es una joven alegre y sencilla, vive en la casa de sus padres y lo que más desea es sobresalir en la vida. El puesto de artesanías de Sindy está ubicado en el Parque Bolognesi (parque importante de la ciudad de Juliaca), su puesto es uno de los más llamativos debido a las artesanías tan bonitas que elabora y vende, además se puede encontrar de todo; desde llaveros, hasta prendas tejidas a mano. Lo que más le gusta a Sindy de su trabajo es conversar con sus clientes, lleva 3 años realizando esta actividad y considera que lo más difícil es tener que permanecer todo el día en su puesto de venta. Para el futuro espera tener una tienda más grande donde pueda brindar a sus clientes una mayor comodidad.
Este es el tercer préstamo de Sindy con MFP y está muy feliz de la nueva oportunidad de crédito. En su banco comunal es una socia muy solidaria con el resto de sus compañeras. Con los mil doscientos nuevos soles solicitados comprará más material para elaborar sus artesanías y así implementar mejor su stock.
