Harriet Namukwaya Group

Harriet is a 38 married with six children aged 6 and 17 years. Her children go to school .She takes care of additional family members. Harriet resides and owns a six roomed house where she is staying with four people. There is electricity and no piped water at home The family gets three meals a day. She resides and works in semi urban area which in the outskirts of Kampala in Lugala lungujja zone. Harriet works seven days a week. She buys her chicken feds from Owino market one of the busiest markets in kampala city and incurs extra transport costs to and from shopping. She doesn’t pay rent as she rears from her home She sells and to all categories of people Harriet has been in this business for nine years and with MCDT for one week, servicing her first loan, working with the same group mates. She wants to use this loan to buy more sacks of chicken feeds. Janet is aspiring of seeing her business grow bigger and start rearing 1000 chicken.
