Emely Entia

Emely Entia is from the village of Mambajao, Camiguin province. She is 40 years old and married with three adult children. To make a living, Emely owns and operates a business venture in the food sector making and selling specialty food products in the local community. Emely has been engaged in her business for over two years and earns approximately $45 a month for these activities.

In 2009, Emely joined HSPFI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Emely has successfully repaid a previous loan of 7000 PHP from HSPFI. This previous loan was used to purchase raw ingredients needed to make products for sale. Emely is requesting a new loan of 10000 PHP which will be used to purchase more raw ingredients. This will be her third loan from HSPFI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated to expand her business.
