Grace Group

Grace Group consists of five borrowers led by 39-year-old Jonas Quayson. He is married and has three children, ages two to eighteen years old, with some attending classes from kindergarten to ninth grade. He is a high school graduate but couldn't continue his education due to lack of financial support from his parents.

Jonas and his family live in West Point, close to downtown Monrovia in Liberia. West Point is a very crowded community, so life is difficult there. As a result of hardship and poverty, the crime rate is very high in West Point; therefore, most people living there wish they could afford to relocate.

Jonas’s business is importing goods for personal use from Ghana and selling them to the residents of West Point. This business enables him to feed and care for his entire family. Jonas has been running this business for over eight years, and giving his customers quality goods is what has brought him this far.

While Jonas started this business with a small amount of cash, it is now growing, and he would like to establish a big store. He needs and is requesting this loan in order to import more goods from Ghana.

Jonas's dream is for his children to become well educated and have a good future.





About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
