Humberto

Humberto is 46 years old; he is a very happy and calm man. He lives in his mother's house, and he hopes to provide her with security and peace in her old age. Humberto does tailoring and sells shoes; he and his mother own a small business, where he works hard to get ahead. At the same time, he works selling shoes that he has made. He distribues most of the shoes to other stores, but keeps the best pairs to sell in his store.

What Humberto likes the most about his work is designing new types of shoes to sell in the market. He has done this work for 15 years and thinks the most difficult part is transporting the shoes to vendors, because the shoes are very heavy.

In the future he hopes to see his business grow so that he can sell his shoes under his own brand name. Humberto is on his third loan with MFP and is firmly committed to making his payments and being a responsible member of his community bank. With the 9,000 PEN he is requesting, he will buy better quality materials to produce new shoes.

Humberto tiene 46 años, es un hombre muy alegre y tranquilo, vive en la casa de su madre, a quien desea dar una vejez tranquila. El trabajo al que Humberto se dedica es la confección y venta de zapatos, él tiene una pequeña empresa junto a su madre, en la cual trabaja muy duro para sacarla adelante. Paralelamente, también trabaja vendiendo los zapatos que confecciona, si bien distribuye la mayoría de zapatos a otras tiendas, guarda los más bonitos para venderlos él mismo. Lo que más le gusta a Humberto de su trabajo es diseñar los nuevos modelos que sacará al mercado, lleva 15 años realizando esta actividad y considera que lo más difícil es trasladar los zapatos hasta los lugares donde los distribuye, ya que son muy pesados. Para el futuro espera que su negocio crezca y le pueda poner una marca comercial propia a sus zapatos. Humberto se encuentra en su tercer préstamo con MFP y tiene el firme compromiso de no fallar en sus pagos y de ser responsable con el resto de las socias de su banco comunal. Con los mil quinientos nuevos soles solicitados comprará mayor cantidad de materiales para elaborar nuevos zapatos.
