Paula

Paula is 50 year old. She is a happy mother of two twin girls age 10, Maria Rosario and Maria Angelica. They live together with Paula's husband Victor, who is 76. Paula wants to provide her girls with a good life. Paula's business selling fruit has provided the income she needs to help provide for her family. On her bike and wagon, she heads out every morning to sell the delicious fruit she has purchased wholesale. She sells the fruit in a marketplace in the city of Juliaca. What she enjoys most about her work is the chance to talk with other vendors in the market. Paula has had this business for 10 years, and the most difficult part is working all day under the hot sun. In the future, she hopes to have a small grocery shop where she can sell under more comfortable conditions and increase her income. This is the fourth loan for Paula with MFP, and she knows the importance of making the payments on time. In her communal bank, she always complies with the agreements made by her group. With the money from this loan, she will purchase more fruit so that she can offer her customers a greater variety from which to choose.

Paula tiene 50 años, es una madre muy alegre, vive en su propia casa junto a su esposo Víctor de 76 años y sus 2 hijas gemelas: Maria Rosario y Maria Angélica de 10 años, a quienes desea dar una buena vida. El negocio de venta de frutas que tiene Paula le ha dado los ingresos necesarios para mantener a su familia, junto a su triciclo sale todas las mañanas a vender las deliciosas frutas que compró en el mercado mayorista, ella vende en la Explanada Laguna Temporal (lugar donde se realizan ferias en la ciudad de Juliaca). Lo que más le gusta de su trabajo es conversar con sus vecinas de venta, lleva 10 años realizando esta actividad y considera que lo más difícil es tener que permanecer todo el día en la calle bajo los sofocantes rayos solares. Para el futuro espera tener una tienda de abarrotes donde pueda vender con más comodidad y mejorar sus ingresos económicos.
Este es el cuarto préstamo de Paula con MFP, sabe que tiene que pagar sus cuotas a tiempo y está dispuesta a hacerlo. En su banco comunal siempre está al tanto de todos los acuerdos a los que lleguen en su grupo. Con los mil setecientos nuevos soles solicitados comprará más frutas para poder ofrecer a sus clientes una mayor variedad para escoger.
