Beatrice is 41 years old she is divorced and mother of two children. Currently they are all in school. She sells porridge at her neighborhood. Porridge is one of the local foods enjoyed popularly as breakfast by almost all Ghanaians. Her porridge is prepared from milled maize or millet grains, boiled and taken with sugar, milk and bread or taking with what we called Kose. Kose is prepared from milled beans and it is fried with cooking oil so in just about 20minutes it is ready to be served with the porridge. With large customer base, she wants to use the loan to buy more raw materials like bags of millet, beans, sugar and milk to increase production. She hopes to raise good income to support her kids in school and make business expansion.
