Otgonsuren Luvsansharav

Luvsansharav Otgonsuren is 36 years old and lives with his wife and three children in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's capital city. His family lives together in a ger, a traditional Mongolian tent home, in a housing district in the city. His two oldest daughters attend secondary school and his youngest child is in kindergarten. With the help of his wife, Otgonsuren operates a small souvenir and shoe selling business at a stand at the local market in their district Due to his injured leg, Otgonsuren operates the stall while his wife travels to China to purchase products to sell. After leaving his old job, Otgonsuren started his business in 2007 with the hope of having more work freedom and higher earnings. He has found much success in his new trade. Today, his working capital exceeds 2,500,000 tugrugs (~1750 USD) and his daily revenues average between 100,000 - 150,000 tugrugs (~70-105 USD). Otgonsuren is a very hardworking and open-minded person. He hopes to continue to grow his business in the future with the dream of one day of building a house for his family. He is requesting a 3,000,000 tugrug (~2100 USD) loan to purchase more supplies and products for his souvenir and shoe stand.
