Luz Hentulia

This is Luz Hentulia, a 41-year-old apartment landlady from Silang, Cavite. She lives with her two adult children.

Luz has been managing her own apartment complex for the last eighteen years. She also sells purified drinking water in large containers. She earns at least P20,000 a month and her profits are used to sustain her children’s college education.

Luz came across a staff of the Center for Community Transformation (CCT) Credit Cooperative in 2005 who explained to her the benefits she can gain from being a member. She became a member a month later.

Luz is applying for a loan of P49,000 to undertake a few repairs on some of her apartment units.
