Ingrid

Ingrid is 31 years old and lives with her husband and son in the house she inherited from her parents. Since her childhood, she has been dedicated to working the land. Nowadays she plants potatoes, corn, and vegetables such as spinach on her farmland. She sells these products in the city to vegetable dealers but saves part for her own consumption. While Ingrid waits for harvest time, she uses the time to sell clothing to her neighbors and friends.

The experience of these years of work has taught Ingrid that she will always be able to obtain basic foods for her family through continuing and increasing her agricultural production. This is her first time getting a loan through MFP, which is why she is very excited at this new experience with a communal bank. The money that she asks for will be invested in the purchase of sacks of fertilizer for her next sowing season.

Ingrid tiene 31 años, vive con su esposo y su hijo en la casa que heredó de sus padres. Desde su niñez ha estado dedicada a las tareas del campo, actualmente siembra en sus tierras de cultivo papa, maíz y verduras como las espinacas. Estos productos los vende en la ciudad a comerciantes de verduras y otra parte la almacena para su consumo propio. Mientras Ingrid espera la época de cosecha aprovecha el tiempo para vender ropa a sus vecinos y amistades. La experiencia de estos años de trabajo, le ha enseñado a Ingrid que a través de la agricultura siempre ha podido obtener los alimentos básicos para el sustento de su familia, por lo que continuará e incrementará su producción.
Esta es la primera vez que tiene un préstamo con MFP, por lo que está muy entusiasmada con esta nueva experiencia en un banco comunal. El dinero que solicita lo invertirá en la compra de sacos de abono para su próxima campaña de siembra.
