Mr. Armando Calaor is a 36-year-old married man. He is from Candida, Bi-ao, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental. He and his wife started a small sari-sari (general) store with capital of PHP 3,000 from his first loan from NWTF-Project Dungganon. Now after a year, the couple has ventured into the food business by putting up a cafeteria inside the public market. The cafeteria is managed by his wife while Mr. Armado Calaor drives a passenger tricycle (motorcycle with a side car) which he uses to shuttle passengers around the town, very much like a taxi. Armando is borrowing PHP 20,000 for his 10th loan cycle to buy spare parts for the repair and maintenance of his tricycle, so that he can continue earning a good income from his transport venture.
