Melita Sapiandante

Melita is engaged in vending cooked foods in their village. She has been cooking different viands for three years and she sells them in their whole village as her source of income. Aside from her retail business, Melita is also raising hogs at their backyard. She is requesting to avail a loan amounting to PHP18, 000 for the maintenance and improvement of her businesses. Through the loan, she knows that her business will continuously grow. Improvement in her business had seen already and it is because of her hard work and help of lenders who used to support her.

Melita is now 38 years old and she is married to Mario, a driver for seven years in Manila. She is hoping that their diligence in work will contribute to the success of their children. She hopes that her children will always be eager to finish their studies for their own sake in the future. The couple has five children, four of them are still studying. Their eldest has now married after his graduation in high school. Charlene, their second child, is now in her last year in high school. John Mar, their third child, a second year high school student, John Martin is eight years old and Shaira is four, they are also both studying. Melita is very much thankful for the chance in knowing about KIVA.
