“Kantutas” is the name of the community association that brings together a group of women entrepreneurs, most of whom have family responsibilities. Their situations have forced them to seek sources of income to cover their living expenses such as food, education, and other needs for their children.

The group is currently involved in distinct activities. For example, Feliza sells potatoes (fresh & freeze-dried), Alicia sells shoes, Lidia sells cosmetics, Celia sells beef, and Elsa sells milk. They sell their products at various fairs throughout the area or at the main fair in El Alto. They need capital to buy more merchandise, and with this acquisition, will be able to generate sufficient income to cope with the difficult economic situations they are experiencing.
