The village bank loan consists of thirteen people, all living in Daeum Doung village. Mr. Mom Dok is the village bank president who has been selected by the members. He is a farmer who owns a plot of land to cultivate rice. His wife, Mrs. Nget Sokha, is a grocer who owns a small grocery store. Since her business is doing well, she wants to expand it. Mr. Mom Dok decided to ask for a loan to buy more grocery products and also will use the rest of loan to buy a boat. He is 25-years-old and the father of a child who is too young to work or study. Two members who are pictured in the group are Mrs. Nget Sokhorn and Mrs. Lonh Ary.

Eleven members in this group loan are end-of-term loans and the rest have monthly payment loans. They are not required to pay any principal on the loan until the very end of the loan term. End-of-term (EoT) loans are AMK’s main product because it is the most beneficial to Cambodia’s poor. It allows them to repay portions of the principal whenever they are financially able to. Most clients start to make payments many months before the end of the loan term. Almost all of AMK’s clients make their payments on time. AMK has a delinquency rate of only 0.09% and AMK has a default rate of 0% on Kiva.
