Romy

Romy is 45 years old. She started working towards achieving her dreams when she was very young and has made progress toward them through her hard work and dedication. She has her own home, which she shares with Felix and the family they have made together. They have two children.

She is a nurse and her vocation of service has opened doors for her to be able to work in areas very much in need of medical care, where she offered her services for ten years. She now runs a pharmacy and health center from her home, where her neighbors have benefitted very much. What motivates Romy is contributing to the well being of the people in her local area, who trust in her attention and advice on preventive care. In the three years that she has run her pharmacy, she has had to be able to provide for people 24-hours a day, which is the most difficult part of running a health care center from her home. Romy wants to be able to stock her pharmacy with essential medicines and create more space in her home in order to be able to offer her patients a more comfortable environment.

This will be the fourth loan she has gotten through "Microfinanzas PRISMA" to which she is highly dedicated and feels comfortable with. She will use the money from this loan of "1000 Soles" ($350 US) to buy medicines to stock her pharmacy.

Romy tiene 45 años, es una mujer que desde muy joven luchó por realizar sus sueños, los cuales con trabajo y dedicación fue cumpliendo poco a poco. Actualmente vive en su casa propia junto a la familia que formó con Félix, su pareja, con quien tuvo dos hijos. Ella es enfermera y su vocación de servicio le abrió las puertas para trabajar en lugares muy carentes de atención médica, donde brindó sus servicios por diez años. Ahora trabaja en su casa donde abrió una farmacia y un centro de salud, siendo sus vecinos los más beneficiados. Lo que motiva a Romy es aportar para el bienestar de los habitantes de su localidad, quienes confían en sus atenciones y sugerencias de prevención. En los 3 años que viene atendiendo en su farmacia ha tenido que estar al servicio de las personas las 24 horas al día, lo cual es lo más difícil de tener un centro de atención en su casa. Para el futuro Romy desea incrementar su farmacia con medicamentos esenciales, de la misma forma ambientar su casa con espacios adecuados para una atención más cómoda de sus pacientes.
Este es su cuarto préstamo con Microfinanzas PRISMA y viene trabajando con un alto grado de compromiso en su banco comunal donde se siente muy bien. Con los mil soles de crédito solicitados comprará algunos medicamentos para implementar su farmacia.
