Avenida Lopez Avelar Group

You will find the village of Jantetelco, which belongs to the Jantetelco Moleros municipality, 28 km from the city of Cuautla. Josefina Binilla Espitia, 43, lives there. She has been a widow since her husband died a year and a half ago. She has two children who live with her. Both of them go to school. Her daughter is taking an advanced hairstyling course. Her son goes to kindergarten.

Josefina has a grocery store called “Abarrotes Dona Jose”. She has been serving people for nine years. She had the idea to set up a store with her husband. They had some money saved, and they saw that there weren’t any stores on the street. The others were very out-of-the-way. She started her business with a small table with very few groceries. Little by little, it was growing into what it is now. Her store is located on the main street in Jantetelco, the Avenida Lopez Avelar No.1. Due to its good location and excellent service, many customers, from her village or others, come to her store every day.

Josefina is asking for a loan from the Fundación Realidad to buy sugar, bread, grain, oil, milk, eggs, potatoes (chips), canned goods, toilet paper, jugs of water, soft drinks, bottled water, and soaps, etc. In the future she hopes to make her store larger and to set up a stand where she sells fruit and vegetables.

She found out about FRAC from a friend who invited her to be part of a group. However, several months ago she had an operation and could not continue with FRAC. Now that she has recovered, she returns to ask for a loan to restock her store and have more products to offer her customers. Her group is called Avenida Lopez Avelar, and it is comprised of 12 women.

Tranquilina Flores Piña, La Sra. Angela Castillo Hernández, Francisca Abarca Barrera, Marta Reyes Leo, Eustolia Avelar Rosales, Amada Morales Caltenco, and María De Jesús Vidal Aragón sell by catalog. Maria De Los Angeles Aragon Caballero sells farming products. Florencia Marta sells cloths in the street markets of the communities in the outskirts of her village. Maria Eulalia Reyes Jiménez has a clothing store. Gloria Yecenia sells food. Of course, Josefina is also in the group.

Ubicado aproximadamente a 28km de la ciudad de Cuautla se encuentra el poblado de Jantetelco perteneciente al municipio de Jantetelco Moleros, ahí vive la señora Josefina Binilla Espitia quien tiene 43 años de edad es viuda tiene año y medio que falleció su esposo tiene 2 hijos los cuales viven con ella y los dos estudian su hija esta tomando un curso de estilista mas avanzado y su niño va al kinder.

Doña Josefina tiene una tienda de abarrotes llamada “Abarrotes Dona Jose” tiene nueve años sirviendo a toda la gente, comenta que tuvo la idea de poner una tienda junto con su esposo ya que tenían un dinero ahorrado y vieron que no había ninguna tienda en la avenida y las otras estaban muy retiradas. Inicio su negocio con una pequeña mesa con muy pocas cosas de abarrotes y poco a poco la fue agrandando hasta la que tiene ahora. Su tienda se ubica en la avenida principal de Jantetelco, la avenida Lopez Avelar No.1, y debido a su buena ubicación y al excelente servicio, muchos clientes la visitan a diario, ya sea del mismo pueblo o de otros.

Doña Jose solicita un crédito a Fundación Realidad para comprar azúcar, jabón, pan, cereales, aceites, leche, huevo, papas (chips), enlatados, papel higiénico, garrafones de agua, refresco, agua embotellada, cloro, jabones, etc.

En el futuro ella espera hacer más grande su tienda y poner una recaudería donde venda frutas y verduras

Ella se entero se FRAC a través de una amiga quien la invitó a formar parte de un grupo, sin embargo hace unos meses fue operada y no pudo seguir con FRAC, ahora que ya está mas recuperada nuevamente vuelve a pedir un préstamos para resurtir su tienda y tener mas productos que ofrecer a sus clientes, así que forma un grupo llamado “Avenida Lopez Avelar” y que está formado por 12 mujeres:
La Sra. Tranquilina Flores Piña, La Sra. Angela Castillo Hernández, Francisca Abarca Barrera, Marta Reyes Leo, Eustolia Avelar Rosales, Amada Morales Caltenco, María De Jesús Vidal Aragón, se dedican a la venta a través de catálogos; la Sra Maria De Los Angeles Aragon Caballero se dedica a la comercialización de productos agrícolas; la Sra. Florencia Marta vende ropa en los tianguis de las comunidades aledañas a su pueblo, la Sra. Maria Eulalia Reyes Jiménez tiene una tienda de ropa y la Sra. Gloria Yecenia vende comida, y porsupuesto la señora Josefina.
