Marisol represents the Independientes group, which is comprised of 13 members with low incomes. But they are very hard-workers, and they have expectations to grow in their businesses in order to give their families a better future.

The members work in different types of commercial activities like selling groceries in neighborhood store, selling food, cosmetics, phone calling services, clothes, accessories, shoes, and making wooden furniture. A majority of them work in their homes. The rest are street vendors. As far as the competition goes, we can say that there are competitors in the neighborhood. But the members have their regular customers who generate the necessary economic movement for daily income. In case it does not go well in the neighborhood, they head to other places to sell their products or do their work so that they can meet their responsibilities for themselves and their families.

The loan is to get merchandise to stock their stores and to get supplies to generate greater earnings. This will help give their families a better quality of life.

As far as their loan experience goes, the members are in their fourth cycle. They demonstrate the desire to get ahead, responsibility, and honesty for their group.
