Airfield Short Cut Group

Edwina lives in the Airfield Shortcut area. It is north of downtown Monrovia, Liberia. It’s a community with mixed poor and middle class Liberians.

Edwina’s business is, she buys charcoal wholesale and sells retail to the residents of Airfield Shortcut. She has been running this business for 3 years and she is grateful to this business because both her own and the children’s school fees and their food comes from her business.

Edwina started this business with a small amount of capital but now owns a warehouse and wants to go forward and expand her business. Her good relations with her customers made her reach this far, and she wants to become a big businesswoman, travelling out of country to bring different kinds of goods to Liberia.

Edwina needs the loan to purchase more charcoal to fill her warehouse and make more profit to increase her capital.
She dreams of graduating from university and giving her children a education for their future.
